KAMATA Online Protection Services (KOPS) is a private, venture funded company focused on energy and revenue protection in the power sector. Our IT and OT solutions are designed to detect and reduce electricity theft, monitor field assets and provide remote access and switching solutions for electricity utilities and telecommunication tower providers.

Context
Kamata Online Protection Services Limited derives its name from the Swahili word "Kamata," meaning "to capture." The company is focused on reducing energy and revenue losses for electricity utilities. 
It provides innovative solutions that help detect commercial losses, including real-time identification of electricity theft and other network inefficiencies. Kamata's work addresses critical challenges in energy access by enabling reliable and affordable electricity distribution. 
The company currently operates in a single market, which presents a strategic risk, and aims to expand operations while maintaining technological innovation to adapt to the dynamic energy sector.
