Context
Lightning poses significant risks to both individuals and industries, causing harm to people and damage to critical electrical equipment. The Zed Box is a system designed to address these challenges. It comprises electronic devices equipped with long-range radio communication technology and sensors that collect real-time environmental data.
This data is then analyzed using artificial intelligence (AI) to accurately predict lightning strikes. The system provides mobile app alerts to individuals and automatically disconnects critical electrical equipment, protecting energy providers and industrial operations.
