The aim of this webinar is to present the mandate of EDFI MC, manager and platform of investment and guarantee funds dedicated to Electrifi access. 90% of EDFI's sources of funds come from European sources. This project fills a gap in the market for financing smaller projects, particularly off-grid projects, which were not profitable for some funds. The aim is to breathe new funding into and create connections with renewable energy access projects.
Then, the Pay as you go theme will be explored: key performance indicators, advantages and points of attention in the sector will be detailed. Future market perspectives will also be discussed.
AFD and Proparco will share their experience of working with EDFI.
