In 2022, GOGLA celebrated its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of remarkable progress in improving the lives of millions worldwide. With Members operating in over 130 countries, GOGLA has emerged as the leading voice of the off-grid solar industry. The milestone was commemorated with the organization's largest and most successful event to date: the 6th Global Off-Grid Solar Forum and Expo held in Kigali.
The 2022 Annual Report showcases the significant achievements of GOGLA over the past year. From engagement with numerous national governments to advocacy for adaptation finance at COP27, the report provides insights into various initiatives, including industry data analysis, investment trends, and consumer protection measures.
GOGLA's strategic vision aims to impact 1 billion lives by 2030 through off-grid solar energy solutions. This includes expanding energy access to 550 million people, improving energy services for millions more, and empowering farmers and small businesses with off-grid technologies to enhance livelihoods and resilience.
