Metavolt Énergie
Metavolt Énergie is a company specialised in digital and technological solutions for decentralised energy systems, particularly off-grid solar installations. It develops innovative tools that enable remote connection, monitoring and optimisation of solar systems, improving their performance, reliability and long-term sustainability in low-infrastructure environments.
Nghezo
Nghezo is an organisation involved in the development and deployment of local energy solutions, contributing to improved access to energy and the optimisation of off-grid solar systems. Its partnership with Metavolt Énergie aims to strengthen on-the-ground implementation and operational adoption of the digital solutions developed.
Project context
In Burkina Faso, access to electricity still relies heavily on off-grid solar solutions, particularly in rural and remote areas. While these systems play a critical role in electrification, their performance is often constrained by limited real-time supervision, reactive maintenance and a lack of advanced energy management tools.
In this context, Metavolt Énergie and Nghezo have developed Solarflow, an intelligent cloud platform designed to connect solar systems, automate their operation and provide full visibility into system performance. The project aims to improve the reliability, efficiency and sustainability of off-grid solar installations.
