Bootcamp Digital Energy Challenge 2025

Developing synergies to drive digital innovation in the energy sector

The Digital Energy Bootcamp 2025 took place in Dakar, Senegal, on November 26–27, 2025, following the Digital Energy Challenge Award Ceremony.

This annual event brings together Challenge award winners, public energy stakeholders, start-ups, sector experts, financial institutions, and technical partners around a shared objective: to foster dialogue, share experiences, and build concrete collaborations in order to accelerate the digital transformation of energy systems in Africa.

Designed as a space for collaboration and dialogue, the Bootcamp combines:

  • collaborative sessions,
  • high-level roundtables and panel discussions,
  • networking opportunities and targeted meetings,
  • and dedicated moments to showcase and promote the award-winning projects.

The discussions focused on key challenges facing the sector, including artificial intelligence, data valorization, network planning and security, energy storage, and the financing of new mobility solutions.
